If you need to report a leak, please contact the Water Clerk during normal business hours Mon. – Fri., 8am – 4:30pm. Otherwise, please call the After Hours / Emergency number to speak with one of the crewmen on call.

*Huntsville Utilities handles the reading, meter mis-reads and billing of all meters for the City of New Hope. The New Hope Water Department is responsible for meter change-outs, repairs on city side, and maintenance to the system.

*City of New Hope Water Department currently purchases your drinking water from the Huntsville Utilities. Emergency water is purchased from Owens Cross Roads Water Authority. We also supply water to Madison County Water.

 

CURRENT WATER RATES (effective October 2018)

Single Family – Residential / Commercial (INSIDE CITY LIMITS)
$23.03 for the first 2,000 gallons used
$8.00 per 1,000 gallons over the first 2,000 gallons

Single Family – Residential / Commercial (OUTSIDE CITY LIMITS)
$23.03 for the first 2,000 gallons used
$9.38 per 1,000 gallons over the first 2,000 gallons

Multi-family Dwellings
$18.00 per unit, for the first 16,000 gallons used
$6.00 per 1,000 gallons over the first 16,000 gallons
